Biography
Tiggy Vinarius Scaevola was not a name that would come to mind to most when thinking of the Vinarius family line. Descending from a distantly related, smaller branch of the Vinarii lineage, during their hours of crisis her family was caught in the crossfire of zealous fanaticism as most if not all of her direct family were blamed and subsequently killed. The true story of the small family has remained all but lost to time. All that is known is that the present head of the Vinarii household, Monkeus himself had saved one of the youngest members of this small family. All that remains from this past are her damaged eyesight, and the lifelong debt that Tiggy serves, operating as a loyal right hand to Monkeus Vinarius.
Her bubbly and curious personality may not match the typical image one might have of the Vinarii, but it would be remiss to reduce her to just a friendly face.
Serving under the administrative department, she has a knack for picking up skills and information. Her loyalty runs deep and she is willing to do whatever she can if it means furthering the goals of the Vinarii household.
Story
Tiggy initially attempted to contribute to the Vinarius household. Although the heavy discouragement by her sister, Axonia, saying she lacked any skills worthy of use. Combined with being told she could not speak as a part of the family made her back away from the family affairs, feeling unwanted. She turned to Gradulus of House Valerius founding a glasses company. They grew closer during this time, eventually starting a family together. Tragically her children died young, leading to Tiggy focusing deeply on her work and rarely talking about that loss.
Once her business and slight influence were solidified she helped Rose in their run for tribune, through this partnership they slowly fell in love. With her business being her own she had little connection to the Vinarii beyond her debt to Monkeus for saving her as a child. Following the death of Monkeus she deeply considered leaving the family for good, receiving several offers from other interested patrician houses to adopt her, and for a time it seemed she would've accepted one of their offers.
Despite the world around her shouting remarks of heresy and false gods, Tiggy never believed any of it was real. She had never knowingly met anyone who admitted or showed such absurd beliefs hence she dismissed the allegations and rumors as just that, rumors spread by those hoping for political power.
Eventually she found herself disappointed with the Valerius house as many of its members had become absorbed and consumed by religious arguments. Tiggy had little interest in religion and disliked the politics of it all. Upon learning Axonia was rallying supporters for a campaign of vengeance rather than religion, she made her unexpected return to the Vinarii. The same person who had drove her away, was now the one able to convince her to return with a simple request, validating Tiggy's desire for appreciation and being useful.
In the final lead up to the war Tiggy recruited many of her friends to fight alongside her genuinely believing they would come out in victory. Dispite the arguments and disagreements leading up to the conflict Tiggy fully believed she was fighting for the right cause. The Campaign ended in disaster and Tiggy was killed in the war along side the rest of the Optimates and all those she had brought with them.
