==Biography==
Aemilia was the sole child of the head of Gens Lucretia, being the sole heir and proprietor of the house, her childhood was geared towards learning and leading. Upon her shoulders rested the legacy and prestige of one of the eldest and wealthiest clans of the Roman Republic. Eventually when she came of age, she would get married matrilinerally with someone from a lesser clan. It was a political and loveless marriage, but one that had to be done for the sake of the clan.
Blab here about the general bio

Having to deal with the weight of her situation she worked alongside her husband, who despite being forcefully married, grew to enjoy his wife's presence. They would work together a significant amount on their business and preparations for the future— at least until the sudden passing of her father due to health complications, leaving her husband as the Patriarch of Gens Lucretia. He would subsequently get elected into a Senator position out of respect for the Clan, thus leaving the business affairs to Aemilia herself, ensuring she would be locked into the constant ebb and tide of work. Aemilia eventually would birth three daughters in spite of wanting to have a son, all of whom she would eventually neglect in favour of her duties, all in dedication to supporting her husband's career and her family business. Whilst deep down she loved her children, her heart was torn by the expectations of not only her late father but her peers to not only maintain but grow the prestige of Gens Lucretia.

Yet this state of affairs would not last; shortly following her becoming pregnant with her third daughter, her husband would pass in a horrific incident, one which she refuses to speak upon, yet one that profoundly changed the trajectory of her life. Without any male heirs in Gens Lucretia, she would suddenly become its Matriarch. Quickly taking on her husband's role in the Senate, her workload went from significant to overbearing. Her children became secondary nuisances as she went into political overdrive, attempting to clean up the aftermath of the incident. This would lead to her adopting two of her nephews from a sister branch of her Clan. Whilst these boys could not take over her family, they could prove to be better heirs. After all, Rome could have trouble accepting another generation of Matrilineal leadership in one the most powerful families.

Though she would find herself in further scandal having taken on a pregnancy from an imposter, she would birth her final child. A son, something she always wanted but an heir she could not have, being an illegitimate child and such. Thus, once again, she was forced to abandon her child in favour of politics. Aemilia knew she could not fail, not after she got this far.

Blab here about their story

When it came to Aemilias time, she held the legacy of her late fathers respect who was a well respected senator and her husband who married into her family but died under mysterious circumstances, leaving her as the sole head of Gens Lucretia. Striving to uphold her family values she fought for a decade in the Roman senate to uphold said values, she continued that stance into the events of the story.

Everything changed for Aemilia in the year 50BC, when Mithras appeared. Aemilia worked in the senate as she had for years prior, putting in new bills to create a new justice system for the Roman Republic and whilst that was successful, the pressure on her and her colleagues continued to ramp with famine and heresy spreading through the republic like wildfire. She had begun to feel increasingly isolated and paranoid when rumours had begun to spread about a rebellion. She wanted anything but that and was going to fight tooth and nail to preserve the integrity of the republic. And thus when one of her household attendants invited her to a secret rebellion meeting she decided to attend inperson to investigate. To her shock she found another prominent patrician family there. One that she had long suspected for not only the murder of her husband but also being the ringmasters behind the recent chaos that has rocked Rome. She knew from the on the republic was in grave danger.

Yet as she continued to fight it became increasingly clear that things were growing desperate. On the surface the republic was having some issues but deep down it was boiling. Even her own children were being radicalised, one of them. Her youngest daughter was whispering talk of revolt and collapse, the only thing anyone would talk to her about was the drawing blood of others.

In the year 49 BC, everything started falling apart, she began her new term with hope that the lessons of the previous year had been learnt and things were going to calm down once more. With her suspicions on the Umbran plans against the state confirmed she was preparing to oust them and return Rome back to normalcy.

Yet things would not go according to plan, her Estate manager and her secret lover, was caught in an act of heresy. Dragged out of her estate and executed infront of her on the steps of Jupiters temple. No trial, nothing. Yet her woes did not stop there. Her enemies in the senate used the incident as an excuse to drag Aemilia infront of a huge crowd and condemn her to a life sentence for the act of demanding a fair trial for her lover. And no one defended her, not even her own children. Who all just left her out to dry.

Just like that, without proper trial or reasoning. Her long career was over, her peers loathed her and her children betrayed her. She went from one of the most respected in Rome at the start of the day to one of the most hated by the end and there was nothing she could have done about it. The political blood hounds of Rome ripped her and her families name apart, spurring the justice she so fought for all in the name of their own paranoia and political agenda. The family name she had so feared would end after her passing, had instead burnt to ashes in her own palms, with nothing to show for it but a broken republic.

And so it was like that, for the final day of her life she withdrew her estate. The senate had show their real colours, they were willing to ignore evidence of the real traitors and go after those who had done no crime. To her, the republic was already dead, and her uncle reflected that opinion. Using her desperation to coax her into one last act of service to the people.

Using her influence she would kidnap her traitor youngest daughter and her lover, the lead treasurer and use them to cripple the roman treasury, hoping to incite a rebellion that would topple the corrupt senate. All in her eyes, to restore the just balance of the republic, cutting the snake's head off with her actions.

Yet once again, she under estimated her youngest daughter, who readily threw the life of her lover away only to get back at her mother. Aemilia had hoped that keeping her daughters lover under wraps would assure her silence but that was not to be. And thus her home was raided, her estate arrested and Aemilia backed into a corner where she killed both consuls before finally falling herself after surrendering to an arrest.

Story

Aemilia Lucretia Tricipinus was the matriarch of one of the oldest Patrician families of Rome with roots going the Romulus era. Her family key players in the overthrow of the Roman Kingdom and the last king Lucius Tarquinius Superbus in 509 BC. Since then her family always worshipped Minerva and upheld values of Justice.
