"The Fall of the Republic" refers to the first Istoria role play event set in a Roman Republic setting, where players competed for political control through intrigue and deception. The event ran for six sessions and ended with a civil war, the abolition of class based governance.
Overview
The event centred on a single dense city, governed by a Senate composed of ten Senators, two Consuls, and a Tribune. Players were divided into three sectors: Administration, Legion, and Religion, and would carry out tasks in relation to their sector.
