General Information
The Gens Umbra is defined by the combination of political leadership, military power, and devotion to the Roman Republic. Unlike most patrician families built upon wealth or status, House Umbra gained influence through the aid they provided to both the Legion and the people of Rome.
Members of House Umbra were trained in both warfare and governance from a young age, focusing on creating individuals capable of commanding legions whilst also understanding the needs of the people. This balance between strength and wisdom had allowed House Umbra to gain the respect of both the legionnaires and plebians alike.
Family Traditions, Practices and Teachings
